Golf team finishes 4th

The Mountain Home Tiger boys golf team finished fourth at the District III 4A Golf Tournament at Hunter's Point Golf Course in Nampa last Monday.

High school golf squads qualifying for state include Middleton (337 team score), Bishop Kelly (345) and Columbia (365).

The Tigers were five shots behind Columbia with a 370. Nampa shot a 388, Skyview 398, Emmett 408 and Kuna 409.

Clint Butori and Brent Sexauer led the Tigers, both shooting a 91, which tied them for 12th, just three shots from qualifying for state.

Meanwhile, Doug Zilnicki and Mike Parkinson both came in with a 94.
