Taylor seeks girls for leadership effort

A Mountain Home High School graduate who went on to play professional basketball wants to invite girls here to attend an international leadership program.

Angela Taylor is currently working with high schools here and across the United States to identify female students interested in joining the eight-day excursion through Spain this October.

Known as the Candice Wiggins Overseas Experience for High School Students, the program seeks to empower and inspire high school students to develop their leadership abilities and lifelong career plans. It also help these young women "gain a better understanding and appreciation for various aspects of different culture," program organizers said.
