Audrey McAnulty
Audrey McAnulty, 89, of Glenns Ferry, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Poplar Grove Assisted Living after a short illness.
Graveside services will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery, in Mountain Home, on Friday May 20, at 12:30 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
She was born in Rigby and raised in Hammett. She graduated from Hammett High School in 1938.
She married Lester McAnulty in 1940 and later divorced.
She was preceded in death by two spouses, Virgil Janousek, to whom she was married for 25 years, and Donald McAnulty, to whom she was married for 16 years.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.
She worked and managed the Coffee Cup Café in Hammett for many years.
Audrey was a prolific quilt maker, as well as, an accomplished scenery and wildlife artist.
Audrey McAnulty is survived by her son, Russel McAnulty, and his wife, Kathy McAnulty, two granddaughters, Colleen and Mark Krause and Danika and Kalvin Bauman, and three great-grandchildren, Justin Krause, Courtney Krause and Stacia Bauman of Yuba City, Calif.
The family would like to thank the owner and caregivers of Poplar Grove Assisted Living of Glenns Ferry for their outstanding care. The family would also like to thank Cheryl Rose for the special care she gave Audrey.
