Barbara Susanne (Robinson) Faneuf, 63, of Mountain Home, died on April 29, 2011, at a local care center, surrounded by her immediate family.

Barbara was born on April 14, 1948, to James Warden and Angela Catherine Robinson. She was the last of seven children.
At the age of 19, she met and wed her husband, Dennis Faneuf, in 1967, after only about two weeks of dating. They were wed for 43 years.
In 1977 they had their first daughter, Nicolle. In 1986 they had their second daughter, Danielle.
Barbara devoted over 20 years of her life to the parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel, mainly as the director of religious education. She organized countless events, such as the Faneuf Family Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner, the annual Halloween Party, various food and clothing drives, and numerous retreats for people of all ages and stages of religious education.
Apart from her work, family was her main focus. She was a deeply passionate woman who loved listening, supporting, and hugging her family every second she could. She will be greatly missed by us.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Dennis, daughters Nicolle (Michael) Sutter and Danielle (Johnny) McCown, grandson Tyler, five sisters, Carmen (Merle) Wilson, Marguerite Wesch, Rosmary (Albert) Hopkins, Joanne (Allen) Odom, and Carol (Billy) Melton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother Jesse (Nina) Robinson.
Donations in Barbara's memory can be made to OLGC, 115 N. 4th East St., Mountain Home, ID 83647.
