Mary Niswander
Mary Louise Niswander passed away on April 3, 2011, with family at her side.
She was born Dec. 2, 1932, in Boise, Idaho, to Arthur and Tullie Nelson.
Mary grew up in Mountain Home, Idaho.
She married Paul Reisinger on Aug. 7, 1950. They raised three children together and spent many memorable summers at their cabin in Fall Creek.
Paul died in 1978 and Mary moved to Emmett, Idaho, where she then met and married Richard Postlethwaite. Richard died in 1988.
In March 1995, she married Gerald Niswander and they found great happiness together. Their two families enjoyed the love and support provided by the happy couple.
Mary had many talents and hobbies in her earlier years, which included ceramics, snowmobiling and cooking. Most recently her talents included machine embroidery and quilting.
Mary was preceded in death by Paul Reisinger, her daughter, Paula, and two grandsons, Jeremy and Trevor Reisinger.
Mary is survived by her husband, Gerald Niswander, her son Dale and his wife, Janice Reisinger, her son Allen and his wife, Merry Reisinger, Gerald's daughter Jeanne and her husband, Ray Gabiola, Gerald's daughter Teresa and her husband, Ken Slade, her brother Jerald Fletcher, nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Cold Mountain Creek Restaurant on Tuesday, April 5, at 6 p.m. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
