David Baker
David Russell Baker, 51, of Mountain Home, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2011, at a Boise hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
David was born on Oct. 1, 1959, to Russell "Rusty" and Eleanor "Jean" Baker in Junction City, Kan.
David was employed by the Department of Defense and worked as a supervisor at Mountain Home Air Force base for nine years.
He loved working on cars and enjoyed all types of auto racing.
David was always willing to help his friends and was the first to offer a helping hand to anyone that needed it.
David is survived by his wife, Wanda, of Mountain Home, sisters Claire (Sam) Graham, of Modesto, Calif., Pamela (Rick) LaMont, of Oak Harbor, Wash., Leslie (Anna) Kikuchi of Arlington, Wash., his mother-in-law, Ann Moore of Niceville, Fla., brother-in-law Glen Biswell, sister-in-law Patti (Lonnie) Baker, brother-in-law Gregg Moore, of Dallas, Texas, five nephews, seven nieces, six great-nephews and seven great-nieces.
David was preceded in death by both of his parents and a sister, Paula Biswell.
