Pauline Harper Boyd
Pauline Worley Harper Boyd, 89, died on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, in a Mountain Home care center.
Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at the West End Cemetery in Buhl, Idaho.
Pauline was born in Southard, Okla., to Walter Worley and Era Bozarth Worley.
She married Cal Harper on Feb. 12, 1938, and they spent the majority of their lives together in Buhl.
Cal and Pauline had three children: Barbara Depew (Jay), Walter Harper (Phyllis), and Jeff Harper (Jackie).
Pauline completed her Bachelor's Degree from Idaho State University and taught in the Castleford and Buhl school Districts before retiring in 1988.
Following Cal's death in 1991, Pauline moved to Twin Falls. While in Twin Falls, Pauline completed a Master's of Divinity Degree through Loyola University.
She married Lewis Boyd on Aug. 8, 2003.
Pauline and Lewis moved to Mountain Home in 2007 where she resided until her death.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Lewis Boyd, her children, Barbara, Walt and Jeff, her sister, Thelma Ross, nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pauline will be remembered for her love of her family, the value she placed on education and her passion for music.
