Im a newbie

So what does a Newbie do when she moves to a small town like Mtn Home, Idaho for a job. No friends or family. How does one get to know people, except of course through her workplace. Is there anywhere in town that there is live music played-country music being her preferred? Don't tell me she has to go all the way to Boise to have a social life? There has got to be some social things in Mtn Home for a Single Woman to do? What about going to the bowling alley? Sure she would like to meet a nice Man. A NICE, SINGLE man being the operative word. Are there any of them left anymore. Yes she has found a church to attend-Calvary-and she goes to the 1100AM service, cause she likes to sleep in on the weekends. She has an open mind, so if you have suggestions, feel free to respond here.
