Senators vote against helping save mankind
Wednesday, December 29, 2010
Dear editor:
Last week the U.S. Senate passed the START Treaty -- U.S.-Russia nuclear arms deal. Seventy-one senators voted to reduce, verify and give more safety to our country from nuclear warfare. Twenty-six senators voted no. Both Crapo and Rish voted NO! McCain also voted against what every military general and every secretary of state advocated as most important for safety of human life.
Mountain Home AFB is very important. Why does Idaho continue to elect or support those with views so detrimental to human life?
Can we expect leaders in D.C. to keep funding our state?
