Mildred Nix
Mildred G. Nix, 85, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at a Boise hospital.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov. 19, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
Mildred was born on Dec. 23, 1924, in Malvern, Ark., to Thomas and Ollie Patrick.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking, traveling, square dancing and being surrounded by her family.
Her grandchildren were especially dear to her.
A lover of jokes, she loved to laugh and was always ready with a story or joke of her own.
Mildred is survived by her husband of 65 years, Marvin, her son Wayne and his wife, Gabriela Nix, her daughter Phyllis and her husband, Bob Gabelhause, her three grandchildren, Steven and his wife, Jenni Nix, Kerri and her husband, Adam Rensch, and Christine Gabelhause.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant grandson, Bobby Gabelhause.
