Barbara DeMott
Barbara L. DeMott, 74, of Mountain Home, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, at a local hospital.
A celebration of Barbarašs life will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, from 4-8 p.m., at her daughter Barbišs home, located at 560 E. 12th North in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mtn Home.
Barbara was born in Boise to Levi Lough and Stella Welch on April 10, 1936.
She married Raymond C. DeMott of Fulton, N.Y., on Sept. 3, 1955. She traveled 20 years with her husband and family for the Air Force.
Barbara is survived by her five daughters: Belinda (Loren) Williams of Boise, Joy (Ron) Barreth of Eureka, S.D., Carol (Frank) Hopkins of Mountain Home, Sandra Norquest of Ypfilanti, N.D., Barbi DeMott of Mountain Home; 10 grandchildren, Kelli Williams, Jeff Tyler, Jake Tyler, Jessie Tyler, Joshua Hopkins, David Hopkins, Joe Colson, Anthony Colson, Trisha Oborn, Sammantha McPeak and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Carl DeMott, and both her parents.
