Bank manager says goodbye
Dear editor:
After 33 years living and working in Mountain Home, I have decided to move away.
I have met and enjoyed so many people in those years and I have watched our little city prosper into the fine place I have called home.
I want to "thank you" for 33 wonderful years of sharing your lives, stories, laughter and sorrows. Thank you for standing by me in the good times and a few bad.
I have enjoyed your friendship, smiles, bantering and many, many jokes.
I have lost in death far too many friends and customers and I dearly miss them all.
I would like to thank "All of the Military" for giving me the freedom to live and breathe in this wonderful country we know as the "United States of America." Without your sacrifice, I would not have been able to sit in the same chair for all those years.
I would like thank you -- Mountain Home, for giving me the opportunity to serve you and for being such a large part of my life. The memories of this community will follow me wherever I go and will have a special place in my heart.
Best wishes to each of your and a future full of happiness.
My last day of work will be Nov. 19. Please stop by for refreshments so I can say good-bye.
