Mary Borg
Mary Francis Borg, 71, of Mountain Home, passed away on Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at a Boise hospital.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, Oct. 21, at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Mary was born on June 20, 1939, in San Francisco, Calif., the daughter of Joseph and Carmela Portelli.
After graduation from high school she was employed by Pacific Bell Telephone in the billing department.
She married Vincent Borg on June 20, 1958, in San Francisco.
After working for Pacific Bell for two years she decided to stop working and become a full time mother.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband, Vincent, of Mountain Home, her son Joe and his wife, Elsa Borg, of Mountain Home, her daughter Anna and her husband, Marc Trail, of California, her brother, Paul Portelli, of California, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an older brother and her youngest son.
