Nicholas Stover
Nicholas Scott Stover, 19, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. Burial will follow at Cloverdale Cemetery in Boise. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.
Nick was born on Nov. 13, 1990, in Boise, to Richard and Lisa Stover. He moved to Mountain Home in 1995 and graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2009.
During his school years, Nick was involved in football, track, National Honor Society and Boy Scouts of America, where he learned to love camping and the great outdoors. He proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout at age 13.
Following graduation from high school, he attended Washington State University and Boise State University.
He enjoyed many good times at his grandparents' cabin in Donnelly, snowboarding, snowmobiling, camping and boating. He loved playing and watching football, spending time with friends and family and helping others.
Nicholas is survived by his parents Rich (Helene) Stover of Boise; Lisa Stover-Russell (Mark) of Mountain Home; his brothers Michael Russell of Mildenhall Airbase, England; Trey and Brett Stover of Boise; grandparents Chris and Rod Higgins of Eagle, and Doris Timmerman of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members residing in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Michigan and Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and John Campbell of Boise, and Eugene Russell of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Nick was the love of his family's life and will be deeply missed.
