Linda Buck
Linda C. Buck, 61, of Mountain Home, passed away at home on Monday, Aug. 9, 2010.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mountain Home Idaho Stake Center. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Linda was born on July 17, 1949, to Harold Charles (Pierron) Butterfield and Doris Jean Cass in Pittsburgh, Penn.
Linda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed crafts, cooking, dancing, riding horses, being around friends and family and especially loved being with her jewels, which were her sons, grandsons and granddaughters.
Linda enjoyed doing "Dress for Success," was in the Elks, and worked for the BLM and Department of Agriculture in water arbitration.
No one was a stranger to Lin. She had a hug for everyone and treated them as a long-lost friend. She was a natural leader, took charge and made everyone want to be involved.
Linda is survived by her mother, Doris, of Mountain Home, Idaho, her sons, Kerney Charles (KC) Haydel of Mountain Home, and Stacey Anthony and wife Cathy Haydel of California, grandsons Joseph Edward Haydel of Boise, Idaho, and Michael Bryce Haydel of California, granddaughters Ashley and Stacey Haydel of California and great-grandson Taylor Joseph Haydel of Boise.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Harold Charles (Pierron) Butterfield, and two brothers, John Henry and David Charles (Pierron) Butterfield.
