Chance's Graduation
Christopher Chance Connell, a resident of Mountain Home will graduate from Borah High School on May 25, 2010 at 7PM at the Taco Bell Arena. Chance spent the first nine years of his education in the Mountain Home School District. From then he went on to Borah High school. Chance was awarded the 2010 Borah Special Education Student of the Year Award. He won this award for being a positive influence to his peers, a good citizen, and a hard worker throughout his years at Borah High School. Chance excelled in the Borah B.E.S.T. program which stands for Better Employment Skills Training. He worked a total of 12 different jobs to prepare him to find and work in a job in his community. Chance's family would like to thank all of the teachers from the Mountain Home and Boise School District who poured themselves into Chance's education. "They always tried, tried, and tried again with Chance." If something wasn't working they would try a different path to help Chance learn. For those of you who have the pleasure of knowing Chance know that he simply says, "Thanks."
