Lawson will do outstanding job as district representative
Dear editor:
The political primary season is fast drawing to a close. We will soon know who the choices of the people are.
I would like to take this opportunity to say "Thank You Mr. Editor" for the fair and impartial job you have done. I know many take you for granted. You have a pretty much thankless job to perform and many times we don't even bother to say thanks. I think you have done a superb job of printing the letters you received from all the sides involved. I, for one, want to say "THANK YOU" for a job well done.
I also want to endorse Marla Lawson for the District 22 Senate race. I think Marla will do an outstanding job.
She seems to be in tune with the people. What you see is what you get. She is genuine. She really cares about you. I have seen this demonstrated many times in her actions.
My reasons for indorsing Marla are her stand on taxes. She thinks Idaho can do better and I believe her. She is a firm believer in small businesses and I whole heartedly agree.
She thinks our current administration in Washington, D.C., has gone way to far with spending and so do I. She is firmly against the current health care bill passed by the current administration. Her belief is that this bill, in it's current form, mortgages our children and grandchildren's futures.
She is a firm supporter of our 2nd Amendment rights and thinks the 10th Amendment (States Rights) needs to be explored much deeper. Washington, D.C., must stop the unfunded mandates. They are spending money we don't have. Marla thinks this should stop immediately.
She wants better education for our students. She thinks more local involvement is part of the answer.
There are a host of ideas Marla has that will help put this great state of Idaho back in order. She supports the preservation of wilderness areas and the management of wildlife to benefit Idaho and Idahoans. She is also strongly pro-life and will work to preserve life.
I urge all the people of District 22 to vote for Marla Lawson on May 25. She is the right person at the right time for the job.
