Ex-superintendent backs Corder
Dear editor:
Let me tell you about the real Tim Corder that I know -- A native Idahoan whose traces go back to early Idaho at a stage stop near Mayfield; a dedicated service man who was decorated for his merits in Vietnam. He was a very successful potato farmer in Elmore County which led him to develop a truck fleet -- the family's present business.
Tim and wife Lavene and their three children, now with families, attend Faith Lutheran Church. Devoted and loyal, they are a real mainstay in the church. They helped to open a church school which was open for 19 years but was closed as families got older. Tim has held officers in the church since his presence. His beliefs are strong and resilient. I can claim he and his family our dearest friends.
I know that he studies all issues and pending legislation from all sides for all concerned, and he would not be spiteful on disagreements. He has given our Legislative District his total attention and all issues are studied and prayed upon.
I have worked with all Legislators in my 35 years of school administration at all levels of administration, and I find Tim knowledgeable and receptive. Please vote for him on Tuesday, May 25.
Leo Miller,
retired Mountain Home schools superintendent
