Lawson the best candidate
Dear editor:
I would like to let everyone know I endorse Marla Lawson for District 22 Senate.
I have read her positions on many issues and I totally agree with her. She is the right person for the job. I think she will do an outstanding job representing the people.
She is for lower taxes and who could be against that?
She is pro-life and that fits me perfectly.
She firmly believes in the 2nd Amendment and the right to keep and bear arms and so do I. She also understands the 2nd Amendment is not so you can keep a hunting firearm, it is to defend ourselves against a runaway government. I believe this 100 percent.
Marla is a firm believer in better education for our children. She wants the emphasis on the student and more local control.
I think that is a step in the right direction.
I don't often write letters to the editor, but I feel so strongly about this primary election cycle I had to sit down and write this letter.
It is time for change. It's time for new blood.
You have heard all the cliches the same as I have. The difference is this time I believe it. I think its time we pay more attention to who is representing us on all levels. I find myself taking more and more interest in the political equation each cycle. It seems Washington, D.C., has lost contact and interest with we common people. The beltway inner circle seems to have built a wall to keep us out. We can put a stop to it.
On May 25, please vote for Marla Lawson for senate, state District 22. She is a step in the right direction. She will help tear down that wall of indifference that politicians seem to build up.
