Lady Tiger JV picks up first '09 win
The Mountain Home Lady Tigers JV basketball team picked up its first win of the season last Thursday night at Emmett.
Earlier in the week, the Lady Tigers lost at Jerome.

Mountain Home battled tough with Jerome last Tuesday night, but came up short, 26-19.
The score was knotted at 6-6 after a quarter, but Jerome pulled ahead, 15-9, at the half. The teams both scored five points in the third and Mountain Home was not able to put together any kind of rally, falling to Jerome 26-19.
Jasmyne Moore led Mountain in scoring at Jerome with seven points, Courtney Christiansen scored four and Courtney Broughton and Keesha Janis both had three points.

Emmett 17
Mountain Home held Emmett scoreless for a half on their way to their first win of the season, 34-17, at Emmett last Thursday night.
Mountain Home shot out to a 10-0 first quarter lead and led 17-0, at the half. Emmett managed to score three free throws in the third quarter as Mountain Home increased its lead to 29-3 after three.
With Mountain Home going to the bench in the fourth quarter, Emmett found its shooting eye, scoring 14 points to make it a 34-17 final.
Jasmyne Moore led the Mountain Home scoring with 13 points. Kelsey Egusquiza and Keesha Janis both had eight points, Courtney Christiansen four and Angie Deese one.
The win improved the JV Lady Tigers to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
