Multi-vehicle accident milepost 129

Emergency response personnel from Elmore County Sheriff's Department, Idaho State Patrol, Glenns Ferry Extrication, Elmore Ambulance Service, and the Idaho Department of Transportation have responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle traffic accident at milepost 129 (King Hill exit) on eastbound I-84. Eastbound traffic is being diverted from the 120 exit onto Highway 30.

Injuries have been reported.

At the same time, emergency personnel have responded to at least two other accidents; one at milepost 127 and one near milepost 112. Snow that fell in the area have made roadways slick. ISP is encouraging motorists to avoid traveling through this area until the situation can be resolved. It is not known how long the road will be blocked.
