Sinerius wins state speech contest

Bridget Sinerius

Bridget Sinerius, a senior at Mountain Home High School, won the State Soil and Water Conservation Speech Contest Monday night in Boise.

Sinerius is a member of the MHHS Speech and Debate team and qualified for the national tournament last year as a junior.

Sinerius had to first compete at the local level where she finished second to speech teammate Joann King. However in the district tournament, Sinerius finished ahead of King to move on to the state finale.
