Damon Robinson
Damon Dion Robinson, 34, of Mountain Home, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at a local hospital.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 21, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial with military honors followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
Damon was born on July 17, 1975, in Gardena, Calif., to Darwin and Patricia.
Damon was very proud of the time he served in the US Air Force. His Air Force career started on Aug. 31, 1994, at Lackland AFB in Texas, with basic training. His technical training was at Sheppard AFB in Texas and he was stationed at numerous other bases, including Beale AFB in California, Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, Altus AFB in Oklahoma, Edwards AFB in California, Osan Air Base in Korea, Ramstein Air Base in Germany and finally, Mountain Home AFB.
Damon married Rachel Osborne, on Jan. 13, 1996, in Reno, Nev., and together they had two sons, Derek and Desmond.
Besides his love and devotion to his family, Damon enjoyed riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, quads, fixing anything, building cars and just "tinkering."
Damon is survived by his wife, Rachel, and sons Derek and Desmond, all of Mountain Home, and his mother, Patricia Lewis, his sisters, Latrice Davis and LaToyia Lewis and his brother, Darren Lewis, all of Lancaster, Calif. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theophilus and Ruby Bourland.
