Suspect in shooting sought
Detectives with the Mountain Home Police are still investigating a shooting that occurred Monday evening at approximately 10:38 p.m. in the 900 block of South 10th East Street.
Details of the shooting have not been released as police continue their investigation, however, a photograph of the suspect has been released.
Police officers responded to a call for assistance on South Main and East 12th South Street and upon arrival they located the victim, who had been shot in the foot.
The victim said that when he went to the door of the house in the 900 block of South 10th East Street an altercation ensued and the suspect allegedly shot him in the foot.
The suspect then fled the scene and was last seen on foot headed in a westerly direction from the house towards the railroad tracks.
The suspect, who goes by the nickname "Morrohoe," is described as a Hispanic male approximately 19 years of age, skinny build, approximately 160 pounds, bald with no facial hair, wearing dark clothing, possibly jeans and a dark shirt. He is believed to armed with a small-caliber pistol.
Police are asking for assistance in locating the suspect. Anyone having information about the incident is asked to contact Detective Ron Harmon with the Mountain Home Police Department at 587-2101.
