Firemen's annual open house Oct. 8 will give kids rides on trucks

The Mountain Home Fire Department will hold its annual Open House on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 5:30-8:15 p.m. at Fire Station #1 behind Paul's Market.

The event not only teaches the local children who attend the event about fire safety, but also gives them a chance to ride the fire trucks.
