Student artwork decorates control boxes

Saturday, September 26, 2009
Students from MHHS art classes have brightened up some traffic control boxes.

The Advanced Art Class from Mountain Home High School, taught by Brenda Raub, recently were asked to do eight illustrated drawings to be painted onto the Idaho Transportation traffic control boxes at the El Rancho Parking Lot.

"The goal was to add color, something festive to the area," said Pam Burgess, administrative services specialist for the city of Mountain Home.

What simple easy way to make an eyesore more pleasing to the eye. Way to go who ever thought of it and those that did the actual painting. I look forward to seeing more creations of this type in town.
