Harold Workman
Harold A. Workman, 89, of Mountain Home, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16,2009.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 2425 American Legion Blvd. Burial followed at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery in Boise. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Harold was born on March 21, 1920, in King City, Mo. His parents were Orin C. and Esther Workman.
He served in the US Army during World War II.
He enjoyed doing volunteer work and moved to Mountain Home in 2000.
He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Workman, of Mount Home, his children, Harold George Workman of Germany, Charlotte A. Larkin, of Texas, Patricia O'Toole, of Iowa, Helen W. Russell of Boise, Esther Workman, of Arizona, Andrea K. Wunderle of Oregon, a brother, Franklin Workman of Illinois and two sisters, Mary Hantula, of Spokane, Wash., and Louise Beaty, of Fort Madison, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Varner Workman Runge, a son, Kenneth Runge, and three brothers.
