Swimming pool is one of the possible options that the CLDC will explore

The Community Leadership Development Committee (CLDC) is inviting the public to take part in a special meeting Sept. 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the Mountain Home High School gymnasium to explain the process for possibly bringing a YMCA to the community.

See the Mountain Home News for the complete story.

Why would they want to hold a "special meeting" when they don't listen to anyone's concerns? Seems like a HUGE waste of time.

HSM - you may be confusing the CLDC with the WECRD. It's the WECRD that's been called out time and time again for refusing to listen to the community.

  • I am going to have to agree with highschool mom. Great Idea but we would like to see some more action and less talking about the idea.

  • Great meeting. Good plan of action in place...now to figure out what the town wants (currently and accurately) and where funding will come from (other than the initial WECRD funds). Great leadership on this one!
