Elmer Mouser
Elmer Charles Mouser, 76 of Mountain Home, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at a Boise hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel with a viewing starting at 9:00am until the service at 11:00am and burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery with military honors by Idaho Army National Guard, Honor Guard.
Elmer was born on November 12, 1932, to Gladys and Marion Mouser in Mountain Home. He attended school in Mountain Home and joined the US Army at the age of 17. Elmore was decorated with a Purple Heart and Bronze Stars for his service to our country, while on tour in North Korea.
Elmer married Zeloma Bay Robbins in 1953, and four children were born into that marriage. They were married until a tragic accident took Zeloma's life in 2002. He married Jean D. Carlile in August of 2002.
Elmer joins his infant son, Danny John, granddaughters Christina and Alexandra, his brother Marion, his mother and father and his first wife Zeloma. He is survived by his wife Jean of Boise, daughters Teresa Rainbow of Mountain Home, Loretta and husband Jerry Chadwell of Battle Mountain, Nevada, his son Kenneth and wife Belinda Mouser of Murrieta, California, his brothers Larry and wife Jean Mouser of Mtn Home and Frank and wife Sylvia Mouser of Carlsbad, California, six granddaughters, three great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
