Thelma L. Wilson
Thelma L. Wilson passed away peacefully in her sleep, May 26, 2009, at her home with her son nearby.
At her request they will be no services. Her cremation is under the direction of The Cremation society of Idaho.
Thelma was born March 11, 1916, in Jerome, Idaho, to Oliver McCall and Adolphine (Fink) McCall.
Thelma went to school in Jerome where she graduated high school in 1934. A short time later she moved to California to go to beauty school. There she met and married Doug Taylor They had a son, Norman. Doug was on the ship USS Juneau, were he was killed when his ship sank, in Pearl Harbor.
Later, she married Burley Mabe. They had a daughter Norma. They later divorced.
A few years later she met and married John Wilson. He passed away in May 1992.
She is survived by Norman of Mountain Home, Norma Pounds of Colorado Springs, Colo., a stepson Raymond Wilson of Washington, four grandchildren, Missy Taylor (Scott) Fackrell, Lynn Taylor (Kelly) Schmitt, Mona Pounds and Kevin Pounds, nine great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Thelma was taken very good care of by her son Norman and his friend Mary Aschenbrenner for the past six years, and Hearts for Hospice for the past two months.
