MHHS Senior celebration a success

Dear editor:

I would like to take this time to say thank you to the volunteers and local businesses, civic groups and Mountain Home Air Force Base that were so generous in making a success of the Senior Celebration Night that we had on May 22.

With the current economy we were under very tight constraints.

If any of the residents of Elmore County are not aware, we have over 400 businesses in our community. We are very thankful to the great amount of those businesses that were able to donate financially as well as with those that provided gifts for the graduates.

Supporting these businesses is supporting our community and we should take every opportunity to do this.

The money that was raised for Celebration Night was used to buy gifts from our local community. We succeeded in that endeavor.

Sue Monasterio should be very pleased with everything she was able to accomplish when getting those gifts.

Thank you again to our local businesses, Sue and the other volunteers for a great night for our Class of 2009 Graduates.
