Opera Theatre season begins

The Historic Opera Theatre in Glenns Ferry will launch its 2009 summer season June 12.

Shows will run through Aug. 29 with dinner shows each Friday and Saturday evening.

Each Friday evening the theater will present the comedy murder mystery "Let Him Sleep 'Til It's Time for His Funeral."

Featured each Saturday evening is old-time melodrama "Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch."

Reservations are required for dinner. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and the show starts at 7:45 p.m.

The cost for the dinner and show combined is $22.50. Tickets for the show only are $7 general admission, and $6 for seniors and children under 12.For reservations or more information call 366-7408 or 366-2744.
