Deputies rescue stranded boaters

Early Tuesday morning a group of five Gooding residents, three adults and two children, ages five and seven, were found stranded on an inboard boat at the Lime Creek inlet to Anderson Ranch Reservoir.
At 5 p.m. Monday night the boat broke down at the Line Creek inlet. The group was stranded until 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. The Elmore County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and helped tow the boat to the Curlew Docks. Pine-Featherville EMS responded to the scene. There were no reported injuries for any member of the group, but they were reportedly cold and wet.
