Helen Olson
Helen Josephine Olson died peacefully in her sleep April 25, 2009, at a local care center.
At her request there will be no services.
Helen was born May 31, 1917, in Superior, Wisc., the third daughter of George and Bessie Campbell
Helen spent most of her life in Superior the place she loved dearly, and she often let you know Superior was the best place to live because of having fresh water from Lake Superior. She often told her care givers that she came from the "North Country" Nobody knew the cold weather as well as she did.
Later on Helen and her husband Jim moved to Tucson, Ariz., to be near her sisters Margaret and Dorothy.
Helen was a homemaker and she had many friends in Superior as well as Tucson. She loved going on Cruises and enjoyed a good meal at a Restaurant with her friends and family. While in Superior she met with her friends to play cards every week for many years. She loved crafts crocheting, knitting and ceramics.
She is survived by her son Richard (Sue) Beebe of Portage, Wisc., her daughters Deborah Olson, Eugene, Ore., and Marilyn (Pat) Crook of Mountain Home, ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her sisters Margaret and Dorothy and her brother George and two daughters Patricia Kay and Suzanne Kimberly.
