Gladys (Hunt) Shore, born Nov. 15, 1924 in Paul, Idaho, passed away Feb. 16, 2009 in Portland, OR. She moved to Mtn. Home, ID with her parents, Gene and Zua Hunt, in 1933. She attended Mtn. Home schools and married Johnnie Shore in 1940. They moved to Vancouver, WA and spent many years on the Oregon coast before settling in Central OR. Gladys drove the Senior Center bus in Madras and volunteered there. Upon moving, she continued her service at the Senior Center in Redmond, as well as becoming involved in the Redmond School District with the Foster Grandparent Reading Program, working in Terrebonne and Evergreen Elemetary.

She is survived by daughter, Diana Wold of Anchorage, AK; sons, Don Shore (Suzanne) of Nampa, ID, Kelly Shore (Michele) of Cashmere, WA; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 brother, Esther Fisher, Mountain Home, Doris Alzola of Meridian, Ray Hunt (Carolyn) of Mountain Home and Karma Dean LeMaster (Bob) of Sulton, WA. Many nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie, her parents, two brothers, and a sister.

Memorial Services were held in Redmond, OR. Feb. 21, 2009.
