Jeffrey Martin
Jeffrey Ray Martin, 28, of Mountain Home, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at his home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 24, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
Jeffrey was born on March 26, 1980 in Everett, Wash., to Toni Martin. The family moved to Idaho in February of 1988. Jeffrey attended East Junior High in Boise, where Jeffrey played football for the Hornets. He moved to Mountain Home in July of 1996.
While attending Mountain Home High School he played football as a receiver for the Tigers.
On May 7, 2004, his daughter, Emily Dawn, was born."He was a great daddy," his family said. "She was his world, his life."
Jeffrey moved around a lot, finally finding his home in Mountain Home. He was employed at Pizza Hut at the time of his death.
"He really loved the people he worked with," his family said. "He loved dogs, cars and motorcycles. He took rides all over and loved to ride with his brother, Casey, and his friend, Aaron. They did go too fast sometimes, but they were okay.
"He was a very loving son to his mother, Toni, and his dad, Jeff, and he loved his brother, Casey.
" Jeffrey didn't do everything right all the time, but who does. Jeffrey was a great son and we will miss him. His life was short, but we have so many great memories and he will always be in our hearts and minds. He will never be forgotten, we will always have him with us in his little angel, Emily."
Jeffrey is survived by: his daughter, Emily Dawn; his parents, Toni and Jeff Bugher, all of Mountain Home; his brother, Casey, and his wife, Whitney Martin, of Nampa, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Martin, grandmother, Carol Dufur, and his grandparents Larry and Murna Bugher.
