Mildred BenHayon

Mildred Evelyn BenHayon, 95, of King Hill, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at Magic Valley Manor Assisted Living in Wendell.

At her request no services are planned. Cremation was under the direction of Demaray Funeral Service, Gooding Chapel.

Mildred was born April 4, 1913, in Plainwell, Mich., to Calvin and Bertha Newman.

She met and married Jack BenHayon in Michigan and they moved to the Bay Area in California. After her retirement in 1980, she moved to Glenns Ferry to be with her son.

Until her health failed, Mildred was very social and active in the Three Island Senior Center.

Mildred is survived by: her son, J. Thomas BenHayon, and his wife, Joyce; brother Barney and his wife, Ruth; one grandson, two step-granddaughters; two step-grandsons, eight step-great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and three sisters.

Memorials may be made, in Mildred's name, to the Three Island Senior Center.
