Randy Bevell

Randy Lynn Bevell, 50, of Mountain Home, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at a local care center.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Randy was born on Oct. 16, 1958, in Tucson, Ariz., the son of Jackie and Carolyn Bevell. He was schooled in California.

After school, Randy worked as a truck driver in California and then a carpenter in Idaho.

Randy enjoyed camping, building models and being with his many friends and family, as well as helping people.

Randy is survived by: his companion, Lori Caplinger; his children, Tina and her husband, John McMahon, of Mountain Home, Tiffany Bevell of Arizona, and Alana Bevell of Arizona, Ariam Spence of Mountain Home, Toshia Scholten of Mountain Home, Mia Caplinger of Mountain Home, Rory Caplinger of Boise, Christie Montgomery of Mountain Home, Shalako Parker of Boise, Levi Robertson of Twin Falls, and Terry Duran of Twin Falls; his parents, Jack and Carolyn Bevell of California; his brothers, Ron Bevell of Nevada, David Bevell of California, and JR and his wife, Carla Workman, of Mountain Home, 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina.
