Hilma Cline
Hilma L. Cline, 88, of Mountain Home, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at a local care center.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 4-6 p.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1190 N. 6th East St. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Hilma was born on July 27, 1920, in Fredonia, N.D., to Gottfried and Emilia Labrensz. After graduating from high school and receiving a secretarial school diploma, she married Farris Cline on July 31, 1944, in Riverside, Calif.
She has been a resident of Mountain Home for the past 46 years and retired as a cook from the Mountain Home School District.
Hilma's hobbies included cooking, baking, sewing and community service with Elmore Medical Center's Long Term Care Unit.
Hilma is survived by: her son, Lonnie Cline of Oregon; her sister, Irene Claxton of Buhl; her brother, Harold Labrensz of South Dakota, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Farris, and her brother, Leonard.
