Penelope Reyes
Penelope J. Reyes, 27, of Mountain Home, died Nov. 20, 2008.
A viewing was held Monday, Nov. 24. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 25, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home. A private family inurnment will be held at the Emmett Cemetery in Emmett at a later date.
Penelope was born to Raul and Crystal Reyes on Dec. 18, 1980, in Boise. She was raised in Emmett, where she was involved in the school orchestra, various sports, choir and drama. She was a member of the 1998 Emmett High School graduating class.
In 1999, Penelope was blessed with her first daughter, Jada, followed by a son, Gavin, in 2004. In 2007, she welcomed her daughter SolBella.
"Penelope was a stay-at-home mom," her family said, noting that "she enjoyed spending time with family and her many friends."
Penelope is survived by: her children, Jada, Gavin and SolBella, all of Boise; her parents, Raul and Crystal Reyes, of Mountain Home; her siblings, Sunshine Reyes of Las Vegas, Nev., Desiree Reyes of Nampa and Christian Ruel Reyes of Park City, Utah; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and maternal grandparents.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Francisca Reyes, her grandfather, Juan Reyes, Sr., and "Grandpa" Slim Barnett.
