Kenneth Dean Pickett Stevens, 47, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at his home in Twin Falls.
A celebration of Ken's life will be held on Saturday, Oct 25, from 2-4 p.m., at his home/shop at 1150 Kimberly Rd., Twin Falls. Those attending are asked to bring a copy of their favorite "Ken" picture for his memory plaque.
Arrangements are under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Chapel, Twin Falls.
Ken was born Nov. 22, 1960, in Lincoln, Neb. He graduated from CM Russell High School at Great Falls, Mont., in 1979. Ken moved back to this area of Idaho and joined the US Coast Guard in April 1980. For many years, up to the time of his death, Ken was a long-haul truck driver.
Ken loved to fish, hunt and be outdoors. He also enjoyed car restoration and loved to attend anything that had to do with cars and trucks. He especially loved his "babies," his pit bull dogs.
Ken is survived by: his parents, Charles and Margery Pickett of Mountain Home; his brother, Dan, of Mountain Home; his sister, Shari and her spouse, Bryan, of Gooding, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests sending a donation to a favorite charity.
