Steve Viola
Stephen "Steve" Paul Viola, 47 of Palm Springs, Calif., formerly of Mountain Home, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, at a family home in Mountain Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home.
Steve was born into a military family that lived in several different places. He attended high school in Pensacola, Fla.
After graduation he got into retail management "and was very successful," his family said.
Steve was married and had four children: Andrew, Sarah, Brian and Jason.
Steve enjoyed his time with his family and playing golf with his friends while working for AutoZone, as a regional manager, in Palm Springs, Calif., where he called home, his family said.
"Steve was highly respected and loved by everyone who knew him," they added. "He always had a sense of humor and made us all laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him."
Steve is survived by: his children, Andrew Viola, Sara Viola, Brian Viola and Jason Viola; a grandson; his brother, Rick Viola; his sisters, Debbie Henning and Dee O'Brien.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie J. Denny, and his father, Collins R. Viola.
