Richard W. Hyatt, 68, of Mountain Home, died Sept. 26, 2008, surrounded by his family.

A celebration of his life was held earlier this week.

"If you didn't make the service, raise a Henry's and toast a great man," his family said.

He was one of the best meteorologists in the US Navy, his family noted. "He was so good, on his retirement he helped out the US Air Force.

"After his full retirement you could find him with his family and friends on the golf course, fishing or cheering for his favorite football team, BSU!

"He always had a tall tale, a cold beer and a smile for everyone," his family added.
