Walter Adams

Walter Kenneth Adams, 64, of Mountain Home, died at his home on Friday, July 11, 2008.

A celebration of his life and a potluck will be held at his home on Saturday, July 19, beginning at 2 p.m. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Walter was born on Sept. 13, 1943, to Walter A. and Catherine L. Adams in Pasco, Wash.

He joined the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He retired in Mountain Home.

Walter loved playing horseshoes, being around family and playing cards, his family said. "He was the type of person who would give to anyone and that's why we loved him so much."

Walter is survived by: his wife, Cora Adams, of Mountain Home; his son, Gene; his daughter, Virginia; his brother, George, and two sisters, Linda and Janet.

He was preceded in death by both his parents.
