Just say no to nuclear plant

Dear editor:

This letter is in protest to the proposed nuclear plant, you know the one Owyhee County residents said NO to. I truly hope that the Elmore County Planning and Zoning and our county commissioners are not so money hungry that they allow this nuclear plant anywhere close to Elmore County as there are safer, cleaner and much more practical sources of energy at our disposal, such as the 20 newly erected wind towers at Bennett Creek or our endless supply of solar energy.

Look at it this way if you will, with wind or solar there is no danger of toxic waste or spills, no storage of said waste, and millions of gallons of water or the billions of dollars over time that it would take to maintain this Nuclear Monster.

The solution is simple -- just say NO!
