Darlene Ramsey
Darlene M. Ramsey, 80, of Mountain Home, died of a heart attack on April 1, 2008, at a Boise hospital.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7, at the Bruneau Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Darlene was born on Jan. 14, 1928, in Parma, the second daughter of Ethel and Will Plager. The family moved to Waldport, Ore., during World War II, while her father worked on a dairy. They returned to Parma in 1944. She graduated from Parma High School, then began working for the telephone company in Boise.
Darlene married Albert M. Ramsey on June 6, 1948, and moved to Mountain Home.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Darlene is survived by: her son, Randy, and his wife, Linda Ramsey, and one granddaughter, all of Mountain Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, her infant son, Ricky, and her sister, Alice Mackland.
