Doronio wins gold at mat match

Mountain Man Wrestling Club numbers remained low over spring break, but in a small but highly competitive tournament at Mountain View High School, five Mountain Man wrestlers took their talents to the mat.

Bringing home the lone gold medal in the midget division was Kanoa Doronio.

Finishing in second place was pre-bantam Tanner Keener.

Third-place honors went to cadet Ryan Goldsby.

Finishing in fourth was cadet Jonathon Ryan and finishing sixth this week in a tough novice class was Jacob Ryan.

Next week the club travels to Boise High School to compete at the Arrowrock Wrestling Club.
