Paul Binford
Paul C. Binford, 87, of Mountain Home, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at a local care center.
At his request, no services are planned.
Paul was born on Dec. 14, 1920, in South Bend, Wash., the son of James and Dora Anna Binford. He was raised and schooled in South Bend.
After graduation Paul enlisted into the Army Air Corps, which later became the US Air Force. Paul retired in 1969 while stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base after 30 years of service.
After retirement Paul worked at Koch Lumber and Implement in Hammett.
Paul was a member of the Mountain Home Elks Lodge and Past Exhalted Ruler. He was also a member of the Mountain Home VFW, DAV, Legion, Air Force Sergeants, TREA and AAPR.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors.
Paul is survived by: his wife, Elsie Binford of Mountain Home; his son, Paul Binford, Jr., of Auburn, Wash.; his daughter, Jackie Wallace, of Portland, Ore.; his brother, James Binford, of Yelm, Wash.; his sister, Dora Louise Coblentz, of Gig Harbor, Wash.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
