Robert "Bob" L. Haahr, 41, of Florence, Ariz., formerly of Mountain Home and North Dakota, died Feb. 21, 2008, at his home in Florence.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 27, in Florence, with Pastor Harley Faber officiating. Military Honors were done by VFW Post #1677 of Casa Grande, Ariz. Inurnment will be in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Ariz. at a later date.
Bob was born on Dec. 3, 1966, in Landstuhl, Germany. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1986, and was an Electronics Repairman and a sergeant until his enlistment was fulfilled.
He was a truck driver from 1991 to 2001.
Bob was a corrections officer for the State of Arizona in Florence since 2002, until the time of his death.
Bob enjoyed being a mechanic and fabricating in his spare time. He loved 4-wheeling and NASCAR.
Bob is survived by: his two daughters, Shaiann, 3, and Julia, 9 ½ months, of Florence; his son, Bobby, 11, of N. Dakota; his mother and step-father, Judy and Jim Lacks of Mountain Home; his three brothers, Dean and his wife, Ute Haahr, of Mesa, Ariz., Jim and his wife, Sherri Haahr, of Florence, Ariz., and Tom and his wife, Melissa Haahr, of North Dakota, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Haahr.
