Lady Tiger sophs continue to win
The Mountain Home Lady Tiger sophomores have continued to win as they head towards their final game of the regular season this week against Middleton, the only team to beat them this year. The Lady Tigers picked up two more conference wins last week.

Skyview 23
Mountain Home built up a 20-point lead in the fourth quarter, and went on to down Skyview, 35-23, Thursday night at Skyview in girls conference sophomore basketball.
The Lady Tigers broke away from a 6-6 tie with 1:32 left in the first quarter to go on a 17-0 run before Skyview managed another score in the closing seconds of the second quarter, as Mountain Home took a 23-9 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Neither team scored much in the third quarter, as the Lady Tigers led, 29-13, after three. Mountain Home built their lead up to 35-15, midway through the fourth quarter. They did not score again, but Skyview managed just eight points to make it a 35-23 final.
Rachel Warila led the Lady Tigers with 10 points, Amanda Osborn had eight, Jennica Quintal, Lindsay Sessions, Alex Schmidt and Fatima Guillen all scored four points, and Arlene Futch had one point.

Bishop Kelly 26
Mountain Home pulled away for a convincing 46-26 win over Bishop Kelly Saturday afternoon in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium in Mountain Home.
After trailing early, 4-2, the Lady Tigers went on a 9-0 run the rest of the quarter to lead 11-4, after one. They stretched the lead to 23-8 at the half, and 39-11, after three quarters.
Rachel Warila led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 14 points against Bishop Kelly. Amanda Osborn, Alex Schmidt and Arlene Futch each added seven points, Jennica Quintal and Lindsay Sessions both had four, Fatima Guillen, two, and Brittany Wagner, one.
The Lady Tiger sophomores improved to 15-1 overall, and 11-1 in conference play.
The Mountain Home Lady Tiger sophomores had picked up three wins the previous week.

Kuna 17
The Mountain Home Lady Tiger sophomores held Kuna scoreless in the first quarter and rolled to a 36-17 conference win over the Lady Kavemen sophomores at Kuna Tuesday night.
Mountain Home shot out to a 14-0 first quarter lead, and led 24-9 at the half. They stretched their lead to 33-13 after three quarters and coasted from there to win 36-17.
Rachel Warila led the Mountain Home scoring with nine points, Lindsay Sessions and Alex Schmidt both added six. Jennica Quintal and Cheyenne Castillo both scored four points, Amanda Osborn had two, and Fatima Guillen, one.

Columbia 10
Mountain Home took advantage of a poor shooting night by Columbia to run to a 37-10 victory over the Lady Wildcats in sophomore conference action Friday night in Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium in Mountain Home.
Columbia hit just two field goals in the ball game, as Mountain Home jumped out to a 12-3 lead after one, led 21-6 at the half, and 32-6 after three.
Rachel Warila and Alex Schmidt both scored 11 points for Mountain Home. Fatima Guillen added five points, Amanda Osborn and Jennica Quintal both scored four, and Cheyenne Castillo had two points.

Jerome 28
Mountain Home outscored Jerome 16-0 in the third quarter to pull away for a 39-28 non-conference win Saturday afternoon in Jerome.
Mountain Home managed a 7-5 lead after one, but fell behind, 18-13, at the half. They held Jerome scoreless in the third, building up a 29-18 lead heading into the fourth, and matched baskets for a 39-28 win.
Rachel Warila and Alex Schmidt led Mountain Home in scoring, Warila scored 12, and Schmidt recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Amanda Osborns added six points, Arlene Futch, four, Jennica Quintal, Lindsay Sessions and Fatima Guillen each scored two points.
